2. Limited forward options for Minnesota
At the time of writing this, it is unclear whether Luis Amarilla or Mason Toye will be available for this match. Both players have suffered injuries which leaves the possibility that Aaron Schoenfeld may be the starter.

It was reported by Andy Gerder of the Pioneer Press that Amarilla sustained a groin injury during warmups ahead of the Sporting KC match. This opened the door for Toye to come into the side. However, Toye’s night came to an end when he left in the second half with an injury, too.
Since Sunday’s match, both players were reported as participating in training sessions with the club. Jerry Zgoda of the Star Tribune reported the two forwards were in action during a session. It remains to be seen if they will play in this match.
Schoenfeld did have a very good outing against SKC when he entered as a substitute in the second half, but this would be his first time in the starting XI for Minnesota if he is selected. The lack of attacking options could hurt Minnesota in this match. After RSL’s strong defensive performance, they are going to need to be at their best. Adrian Heath is dealing with a lack of options, and it could spell trouble for his team.
