In the offseason, the New England Revolution’s signed Adam Buksa to lead their line. The former Pogon Szczecin player had an impressive goal-scoring record in the Ekstraklasa and is off to a decent start so far in MLS.

The 23-year-old striker scored his first goal for the club against the Chicago Fire before lockdown. It was a big moment for him as it signaled his arrival as the top-choice at striker at the club. With his first goal out of the way, he will not look to become a consistent goalscorer for the Revolution.
A strong start to the MLS is Back tournament might further help Buksa to gain confidence in his first season in the league. The Revolution harbor hopes of qualifying from a relatively open group and will look to go far in the knockout stages. They will, however, need Buksa to find the back of the net during this competition if they hope to finish in a position that advances them to the knockout phase.
Against the Impact, the Revolution has the upper hand regarding the attacking players on paper. Buksa is a key part of that, joining with fellow DPs Gustavo Bou and Carles Gil. But can Bruce Arena translate the talent to the pitch? We will find out on Thursday.
