2. Franco Jara

Franco Jara arrives at FC Dallas from FC Pachuca. Playing in front of a vibrant and creative midfield, the prolific and experienced goalscorer could be precisely what a young and sometimes inconsistent Dallas attack requires.

More from MLS Multiplex

Across 158 appearances for the Mexican side, he provided 76 goals and 19 assists. He also won the CONCACAF Champions League in 2017 and the 2016 Clausura. He is a proven goalscorer who could well drop down the MLS level and dominate from the get-go, just as fellow Liga MX marksman, Alan Pulido, has for Sporting Kansas City.

Jara is also extremely excited to work with head coach, Luchi Gonzalez. Speaking to reporters last week, he said:

"“When I signed I began to look at how FC Dallas operates. I see that Luchi likes to play. It’s a very intense team. As a player that motivates you. Possession of the ball and being vertical in attack. I hope to be at the heights that the team expects of me. About the soccer aspect, I was in contact with Luchi. It helped me a lot to have a personal chat [with him]. He told me how he would like me to play, what types of movements he wants from me as a forward. The most important thing is to try to transfer those chats to the field. Hopefully it’s not that hard for me to adapt to the team. Everything is a process, takes time. But I am focused on being the best I can soon.”"

The future is bright, it seems, for Jara and Dallas.
