DeAndre Yedlin

DeAndre Yedlin came through the ranks at the Seattle Sounders and finally got his breakthrough in the 2013 MLS season and he went on to make 56 appearances for the club. With his ability going forward and his unbelievable pace, he became an asset for the club during 2013-2014 before Tottenham Hotspur came calling.

Zach Scott

He is known as “Mr Sounder” for a reason. Zach Scott spent all of his career with the Seattle Sounders, from 2002-2008 and then from 2009-2016 as the club reformed. Scott made a total of 272 appearances for the club and was always reliable when called upon. He signed off as a Sounder in spectacular fashion as they won the MLS Cup in 2016.

Chad Marshall

Chad Marshall was another who spent a considerable portion of his career with the Sounders after joining from Columbus Crew in 2014. The central defender went on to make 175 appearances for the club including the playoffs, scoring 10 goals. In 2014 Marshall was named the MLS Defender of the Year as the Seattle Sounders won the Supporters’ Shield. He is the only player in history to win the award three times.

Kelvin Leerdam

Kelvin Leerdam joined the club in 2017 after signing from Dutch side Vitesse. The full-back has made 72 regular-season appearances and has become a vital part of Brian Schmetzer’s plans going forward. His attacking threat has become crucial to the side of recent times and has arguably been the Sounders most consistent player across the past few seasons.
