4. Josh Sargent

Werder Bremen’s Josh Sargent joins the aforementioned Morales in the fight to stay in the Bundesliga. His club sits one place below Dusseldorf in 17th place. They have an uphill battle ahead of them as they are eight points from safety entering this weekend.

Goals have not come at a premium for Sargent this campaign but there’s still time for him to turn things around. Bremen need goals to come desperately and Sargent can answer the call. This is going to be a big moment in his career as he faces the real possibility of being relegated for the first time.

For Sargent specifically, relegation might not be the worst result. While it would be disastrous for Bremen, it could hand Sargent the chance to rack up goals and confidence in 2. Bundesliga. But that will not stop Sargent and his teammates from fighting for their safety.
