2. For the city, for the kids

In Major League Baseball, many stadiums have kid zones and activities, including Yankee Stadium. The Plymouth Rock Kids Clubhouse has a playground, baseball activities, and televisions so families don’t miss the game.

While baseball games tend to be much longer compared to a soccer match, and usually fans don’t want to miss any of the 90 minutes, New York City FC should still add a kid zone for before games. They could have an NYCFC themed playground, similar to the Yankees, and of course, soccer-related activities.

They could have shooting and dribbling challenges, an art zone, and maybe a blue pitch for small scrimmages. Concession stands that cater to kids should go in this area as well.

Having a kid zone would keep younger fans entertained before the game, and enhances the idea the club is for the city. The zone would show commitment to fans, that the club wants to make the game-day experience as perfect as possible. And the kids? They will have a place to have fun before the game and meet fans their age too.
