2. Lewis Morgan

Not much was made of Lewis Morgan’s arrival at Inter Miami, but the Scottish international has proven the doubters wrong by showing that he is more than capable of making an impact on the pitch.

The 23-year old was one of the bright spots in Miami’s frontline during the club’s first two games. He provided an outlet as a right-winger and used his blistering pace and skill on the ball to provide Rodolfo Pizarro with the game-opening goal in the D.C. United defeat.

In that game, Morgan was excellent, creating three chances and completing 24 accurate passes. He finished the match completing 67% of his passes and had two shots on goal. In the dying minutes game, despite behind down a man and a goal, Morgan helped slow the tempo of the match down with the hope of potentially getting an equalizer.

Even though Miami might have lost the game, the winger proved his quality, and as the team continues to gel, we’ll see him become one of the more important players under Diego Alonso.
