2. Nagelsmann ideal coach to learn from

While the presence of former Red Bulls head coach Jesse Marsch as an assistant coach played a part in Adams’ decision to move Leipzig, the club itself is extremely well-run.

“It’s such a family-oriented club,” he told Leipzig’s in-house television channel, BullenTV. “I’m really excited to extend my contract and to continue my development with the club. I think it’s the perfect place to not only grow as a player but as a person as well.” He is also playing under one of the best young managers in world footballers.

Julian Nagelsmann has been a revelation since he took the reins at Hoffenheim. A hallmark of his coaching success is his development of individual players. Andrej Kramaric, Kerem Demirbay, and Sandro Wagner all made substantial improvement at Hoffenheim, while the likes of Christopher Nkunku and Marcel Sabitzer at Leipzig have also flourished under the German’s tutelage.

While Marsch might no longer be in Leipzig and Adams has remained behind, the family feel of the club along with the mastery of their prodigious manager makes it the perfect place for the midfielder to fine-tune his game and reach heights he never thought possible.
