4. Marc Rzatkowski

Taking the fourth spot on our list of the best Germans to ever play in MLS is New York Bulls’ midfielder, Marc Rzatkowski. The attacking midfielder first arrived Stateside in 2018, spending the campaign on loan with the Red Bulls before making the move to New York permanent ahead of the 2019 term.

The German midfielder played 24 times in his 2018 loan spell. His performances convinced the hierarchy at the club to bring him in on a permanent deal. He then went on to feature 28 times in the 2019 campaign as he helped the club into the playoffs for the second-straight season.

Including featuring in both matches at the start of the 2020 season before the suspension of the league, Rzatkowski has played 54 times for the Red Bulls in the regular season, scoring four times and assisting 15 others.
