Nicolas Lodeiro: Seattle Sounders, Attacking Midfielder, 78 rated: Underrated

Nicolas Lodeiro’s status was briefly mentioned when talking about Gonzalo Martinez. He has shown his class in other leagues and internationally for Uruguay. The two-time MLS Champion is the heartbeat of Seattle’s attacking power.

Lodeiro being on par or above players such as Real Zaragoza’s Shinji Kagawa, Monaco’s Aleksandr Golovin, or even the inconsistent Ross Barkley of Chelsea is a reasonable argument to make. MLS wise, Lodeiro has a claim to be the best attacking midfielder, at least joint with another player on this list. Nicolas Lodeiro deserves to be 80 rated.
