2. Union face a tough task ahead
The 2-0 loss to FC Dallas was not the start the Philadelphia Union would have been hoping for. Granted, their opening fixture was on the road, but Dallas were largely dominant in what was an insipid Union display.

They now face the possibility of losing two consecutive matches to start the 2020 campaign, which is of course not ideal given their loft expectations entering the year. LAFC have the potential to really give the Union headaches, much like Dallas did last week.
Paxton Pomykal’s goal was not a good sign for what may come for the Union on Sunday. The Dallas midfielder dribbled through the Union’s defense and went on to score a great individual goal that saw little resistance. LAFC have players capable of doing much the same. If the Union put on a similar defensive performance, it could spell trouble.
Goals will certainly have to come against LAFC if they hope to at least take a point from this fixture. After scoring 15 goals last season, it would be an ideal match for Kacper Przyblylko to get his first goal of 2020.
