LAFC pulled off a remarkable comeback in the CCL Round of 16 versus Club Leon on Thursday night. Here are the player ratings from their 3-0 victory.

In a polar opposite performance from the first leg, Los Angeles FC dominated Club Leon in the second leg of the Round of 16 match-up. Entering Thursday night, the Liga MX side had a 2-0 advantage after a superior home performance in Mexico. But then, a previously outclassed LAFC team rallied together to produce a superb performance and win 3-0 to advance to the quarter-finals.

The team as a whole vastly underperformed in the opening leg. There was much speculation on if Bob Bradley could turn things around in only nine days. But what transpired will go down as one of the greatest comebacks in club history. There were huge performances at every position group as LAFC put right the desperate wrongs of a week ago.

Goalkeeper

Kenneth Vermeer – 7

There was much less for Kenneth Vermeer to do in the reverse fixture. Leon only managed seven total shots and zero were on target. This was a completely different story from the opening leg when Vermeer was called into action right from the start. His first clean sheet for the club could not have come on a bigger occasion. It will certainly be a moment to remember for Vermeer who has been involved in some big matches throughout his career.
