2020 Outlook

The Houston Dynamo have six matches on their preseason slate, including three in a mini-tournament, the Visit Tucson Sun Cup, with three fellow MLS sides, the New York Red Bulls, Real Salt Lake and Columbus Crew.

A week after that preseason tournament, the regular season commences. The Dynamo start by hosting the LA Galaxy on February 29. They then travel to Sporting Kansas City for their first road game a week later.

Houston have two triple-headers at home throughout the campaign, with their first coming in April. They will face the Portland Timbers, new boys Inter Miami and U.S. Open Cup finalists Minnesota United in the space of 11 days. Their second three-game home run comes in August when they face New York City, FC Dallas and Toronto FC.

Houston’s run-in will see them face the Columbus Crew, Los Angeles FC, Vancouver Whitecaps and Sporting KC, before travelling to Saint Paul to face Minnesota on Decision Day.

The club will feature in the U.S. Open Cup and will be looking to emulate their victory from two years ago, but have no continental commitments this time around.
