Sporting KC: Team of the Decade

Kei Kamara
Before his move oversees to Middlesborough and his great success with the Columbus Crew, Kei Kamara was a talented winger for Sporting KC. Leading SKC to the 2012 U.S. Open Cup, the Sierra Leone international scored 38 goals in 113 appearances for Sporting. Kamara was also the greatest aerial threat the club had in the past decade.
Dom Dwyer
Dom Dwyer is the club’s greatest scorer since Preki. In a position that has been difficult to fill, Dwyer wasn’t the most clinical center-forward MLS has ever seen, but he did rack up 57 goals in his time with SKC. His work-rate was always there and he knew how to draw fouls. He beats out Teal Bunbury, Claudio Bieler, and Krisztian Nemeth for this spot.
Johnny Russell
Johnny Russell has had his international career resurrected since making the move over the Atlantic. The former Derby County and Dundee United winger has found great success with SKC, scoring 19 goals to finish the decade with SKC. He gave SKC a winger who was more than comfortable with taking on a defender and is one of the premier offensive weapons in all of MLS.
