2. Benny Feilhaber

Coming to SKC in 2013 from the New England Revolution, Benny Feilhaber was sensational for Sporting KC between 2013 and 2017. After playing for LAFC in 2018 and the Colorado Rapids for the first couple months of 2019, Feilhaber returned to Kansas City for a disappointing 2019 campaign. But it was his first stint in Kansas City that he will be remembered for.

The American international was always a fiery and passionate player that could find the final pass and pull the strings or score an incredible goal at any time. Feilhaber provided the wonderful chipped ball to assist Dwyer’s goal to send Sporting to the MLS Cup Final in 2013.

In 167 appearances, Feilhaber ranks fourth in assists with 43, seventh in goals with 31, and was arguably the best penalty taker the league has ever seen, which came in handy during penalty shootouts. He was named to the MLS All-Star Team and MLS Best XI team in 2015, but was beat out by Sebastian Giovinco for the MVP award despite scoring 10 goals and providing 15 assists in 32 games.
