6. Aurelien Collin

Aurelien Collin, an aggressive French central defender, known for his abrasive defensive approach, was all over the place between the years 2011 and 2014 in Sporting blue.

The greatest year of his career was in 2013, when he led Sporting Kansas City to MLS Cup glory by scoring three goals in five games in the postseason, including two goals in the conference semifinal as well as the equalizer in the final and converted his crucial penalty.

After a difficult and disappointing 2014 campaign, Collin departed for Orlando City in the offseason. But during those brief but brilliant years for SKC, Collin was named to the MLS Best XI in 2012 and was named the MLS Cup MVP in 2013.
