9. Kei Kamara

Sierra Leone international Kei Kamara quickly became a fan favorite in his time with the organization from 2010-2013. The 6’3″ forward scored 38 goals in 113 regular-season appearances, making him sixth on the club’s all-time scoring list. He was also always a major threat in the air, dominating aerial duels consistently, as well as scoring numerous headed goals throughout his time in Kansas City.

Before his loan move to Norwich City, Kamara led SKC to their first trophy (2012 U.S. Open Cup) after the organization’s rebranding. He scored a penalty in regular time and converted another in the shootout as Sporting defeated Seattle Sounders in 2012.

Kamara departed SKC for good in September 2013, when he left for Middlesbrough, months before the organization’s MLS Cup-winning run.
