4. Rasmus Schuller

This one has been all but confirmed, as Rasmus Schuller himself told a Finnish source in July that he feels like his development with Minnesota United is ‘quite done’, and that he plans on seeking new opportunities this offseason.

Schuller, who led the Loons in tackles in each of their first two MLS seasons, fell out of favor this season with the arrivals of midfielders Ozzie Alonso and Jan Gregus, and played just 900 minutes in his third year with the club.

He will spend the next few months back in his native Finland doing mandatory military training, and after that, a move to a club in Scandinavia seems like a likely next step for Schuller to continue his playing career. He is no longer needed — or used — in Minnesota. The time to depart has come.
