Defense

Reggie Cannon – 9.0

Was instrumental in most of the United States attacking moves, linking up play down the right-hand side. Reggie Cannon helped create plenty of space for Morris and went on to assist McKennie’s third goal of the game. The FC Dallas full-back was dangerous all night, showcasing why he has such a bright future ahead of him.

Matt Miazga – 7.0

More from MLS Multiplex

He was under little pressure throughout, but Matt Miazga did exactly what was needed of him. He had a chance to score in the first half, but couldn’t redirect his header on target. Miazga has had a tough start to the season for his club side, but this performance for the USMNT will help boost his confidence ahead of the rest of the year.

Tim Ream – 7.0

Tidy in possession, Tim Ream helped the U.S. keep the ball at the back and even kickstarted a few attacking moves in the process. He was given the captain’s armband when Pulisic was subbed off and his leadership helped keep the backline in check to ensure they didn’t slip up against weaker opposition. A job well done from Ream.

Daniel Lovitz – 6.5

Not as impactful as Cannon on the opposite side of the field, Daniel Lovitz did manage to do some damage on the left-wing. He broke free on a few occasions but was narrowly called offside whenever that did happen. Lovitz handled his business defensively, at least, tracking back and never getting caught out of position.
