6. Przemyslaw Frankowski

The second man to make our MLS Decision Day top ten from the seven-goal thriller in Orlando is the Chicago Fire’s Przemyslaw Frankowski, who bagged twice for the visitors on Sunday afternoon.

The Polish winger had already been influential in the first few goals, with a helping hand in the build-up, but he finally got on the scoresheet to make it 4-1 to the Fire halfway through the second period. The ball came in from the right hand side, and Frankowski just got to it ahead of an Orlando defender, before then back-heeling the ball into the bottom corner. Frankowski then added a second, heading home from close range to make it 5-2, giving the Fire the send-off to their 2019 campaign they would have wanted.

With Frankowski contracted to Chicago through to the end of the 2022 season, they will be looking for even more from the Polish star. An improvement in his goals and assists next year will be vital if the Fire are to return to the postseason.
