FIFA 20 is here and the highly anticipated player ratings are out. How did Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the rest of the LA Galaxy roster fare?

The FIFA ratings have been kind to Zlatan Ibrahimovic over the years. And this year is no different. Not only did the LA Galaxy center-forward take the top spot in Major League Soccer but he also checks in as a member of the game’s top 100 players overall. In fact, he is exactly no.100 in the rankings.

Having displayed an impressive goalscoring record, the Swedish striker is proving he still has what it takes to play at an extremely high level.

His overall rating of 85 is one of the highest in the game for a striker and the game is clearly stating they believe he is better than Carlos Vela, who had an 83 overall rating.

It looks like the on-field rivalry has spilled over into the cyber world as the LA Galaxy can claim they have the better player in the world’s most popular football game.

Zlatan isn’t the only LA Galaxy player who was rated very highly in FIFA 20. New signing Cristian Pavon came in at 79 overall and is the second-best player on the Galaxy’s FIFA 20 roster. This should be no surprise as Pavon has already shown his talent in the short time has been in MLS.

In total, the LA Galaxy have five players who are rated 75 or better overall. Jonathan dos Santos comes in at 78, which is the one player on the roster who is overrated. They have Romain Alessandrini below dos Santos at 77 overall. These two players should be flipped.

A breakout season for Uriel Antuna probably should give him a higher rating than 68 overall. The young midfielder has been a great player for both club and country which should take him to at least 70.

Another young Galaxy player checked in underrated as Efrain Alvarez is only at 60 overall. He should be closer to 65 from what he has shown this season. The game has given him an 85 overall potential which means they believe he will become one of the best players in MLS one day based on what we’ve seen from the current top players from MLS in the game.

For the remainder of the roster, the ratings are fair. David Bingham’s 69 overall ratings is a good rating for their goalkeeper and Sebastia Lletget’s 71 overall is fair for the longtime midfielder’s ability.
