4. Christian Ramirez

From a current Loon to a former one. Houston Dynamo forward Christian Ramirez’s winning goal gave the Dynamo a vital victory that just kept their playoff hopes alive. Not just that, however, he played a key part in Houston’s second-half comeback.

Ramirez was the creator for the equalising goal. His cross found Alberth Elis at the back post, who duly nodded the ball home to make it 1-1. The USMNT striker then found himself on the receiving end of a Mauro Manotas square ball across the box just three minutes later and he had the easiest of tap-ins for his third goal in orange.

Like Mannone, Ramirez found himself in the MLS Team of the Week and the Dynamo will be hoping he can keep his goalscoring form up in their final few matches.
