It felt wrong to end this article without mentioning Mo Adams. After all, he did manage to score against LAFC in that remarkable 4-3 defeat in July.

As such, that remains the sum total of his achievements with Atlanta since joining from Chicago Fire in July, with Adams failing to add to his two first-team appearances since then.

Of course, at just 22 years old, there’s still plenty of time to develop, but right now, given what Atlanta paid for him versus how much he’s actually played, he has to go down as a miss, as harsh as that may seem.
