1. Zlatan Ibrahimovic

What more can be said about the Swedish lion? What other superlatives are out there for Zlatan Ibrahimovic? Who knows… All we can say is that he scored another hat-trick this weekend, three of the seven goals that the LA Galaxy smashed past Sporting Kansas City at the weekend.

Zlatan made his mark midway through the first half. He may have missed from the penalty spot, but he was on hand to fire home the rebound to level the score at 1-1 after Felipe Guitierrez’s opener.

The Swede then bagged his second of the night with a lovely touch and finish in the SKC area, and then sealed his treble with a wonderful finish into the bottom corner of the Kansas City net to put the game to bed.

Zlatan now has 26 goals on the year and is only two behind Carlos Vela at the top of the scoring charts. The Galaxy, meanwhile, sit fifth in the West, just two points above the red line, but could be on for another run to the final. With Zlatan leading the line, you be brave to bet against them.
