New York City FC’s inaugural MLS squad: Where are they now?

The starting left-back the day New York City FC made their MLS debut was Jeb Brovsky, who played 15 times for the club over the course of their inaugural season.
After spending his college career playing for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Brovsky was selected by the Vancouver Whitecaps with the 19th pick in the 2011 MLS SuperDraft. He made 24 appearances for the club before being chosen by the Montreal Impact in the 2011 MLS Expansion Draft at the end of that campaign.
The full-back spent three seasons with the Impact, and played both left-back and left midfield for the club over the course of that time, with his versatility making him a useful asset. He helped the side to win back-to-back Canadian Championships, in 2013 and 2014, before making the move to New York City FC, prior to the club making its debut in the league.
Brovsky spent the latter part of the 2014 season on loan at Stromsgodset in the Norwegian Tippeligaen, before coming back for NYCFC’s inaugural MLS campaign. After just a single season with the side from the Bronx, the left-footer signed for Minnesota United, who, at the time, were in the North American Soccer League. Brovsky left the club in 2016 and he is now the Regional Manager of the Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club.
