3. Zdenek Ondrášek
On Saturday night, FC Dallas faced off against the Houston Dynamo in the latest instalment of the Texas Derby. The hosts cruised to victory, putting five past the men in orange. One man had himself a day, though, as Zdenek Ondrášek scored twice, as well as assisting another, as FC Dallas got a big win in Heineken Rivalry Week.

The hosts scored twice in the first half at Toyota Stadium. Reto Ziegler scored from the penalty spot, before Jesus Ferreira scored a brilliant goal from Ondrášek’s layoff. The midfielder then took the ball a good 40 yards before slotting home.
Ondrášek then scored twice in the space of eight second-half minutes to put the game to bed, making it 4-0. The Czech striker’s first goal came off a good attacking move and he found himself in the right place at the right time in the Houston box to finish it off. His second of the game was very similar. The ball came in from the left, and this time, Ondrášek got in front of his man at the near post and tapped the ball home.
With Ondrášek having scored three times in his last two outings for the team, FC Dallas will be hoping the Czech star can keep this form going as they aim to make the postseason.
