4. Kacper Przybylko

The Philadelphia Union needed a win to keep pace at the top of the Eastern Conference at the weekend, and they duly delivered thanks to Germany forward Kacper Przybylko, who scored nce and assisted twice in a superb performance against D.C. United.

The German got his account open the day inside the opening five minutes as he got on the end of lovely ball into the box from the left wing, finishing from just inside the six-yard box.

Przybylko then went on to set up Brenden Aaronson for Philadelphia’s second goal of the game just ten minutes later, before getting a second assist, as Ilsinho made it 3-0 before the break.

Although D.C. got a goal back in the second half at Talen Energy Stadium, the Union eased to victory, and thanks to Przybylko’s exploits, they stay second in the Eastern Conference, level on points with Atlanta United, who sit top only on the number of wins accumulated in 2019.

The German striker now has 12 goals on the season, and the Union will be looking for him to keep his goal-scoring run going as they aim to take top spot in the East and book that first round-bye in the post-season.
