From a two-goal performance up front, to an amazing performance at the back, next up is FC Dallas’, Jesse Gonzalez. The shot-stopper did exactly that at the weekend as he kept Real Salt Lake out for the entire ninety minutes, earning his sixth clean sheet of the season so far, already equalling his tally from the 2018 campaign.

In his performance on Saturday night, Gonzalez made five saves to keep the visitors at bay in front of his home crowd at Toyota Stadium. He made a terrific stop in first-half stoppage time to prevent Marcelo Silva from scoring from a Real Salt Lake corner. However, it got even better after the break, pulling off an amazing one-on-one save from Corey Baird to keep the scores level.

Those five saves almost led to FC Dallas taking all three points from the match late on, but for a couple of missed chances in front of the opposition goal. That is no fault of Gonzalez’s, who was absolutely superb.
