1. Zlatan Ibrahimovic

A lot of people can talk the talk. Only some can walk the walk!

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is one of those men. And he got tongues wagging again ahead of El Trafico with his comments about LAFC’s Carlos Vela. The game between the Los Angeles’ rivals turned out to be more of a game between Ibrahimovic and Vela, with the pair combining for all five goals in the game. It was the Swede that took control though, as he bagged a hat-trick on Friday night to condemn the runaway leaders to only their third defeat of the 2019 campaign.

He showed great skill to get past a defender before volleying home the first. He then rose above everyone to head home his second of the night in typical Zlatan style, before firing home from the edge of the box with his left foot to complete a perfect hat-trick and give the Galaxy the L.A. bragging rights.

With this victory, the Galaxy are now second in the West. They now sit just nine points behind city rivals LAFC, with time to catch them for the Supporters’ Shield yet. And with Zlatan in form with both his mouth and his feet, who would bet against the Galaxy from overhauling their inexperienced rivals?
