11. Toronto FC – BMO Field – Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Capacity: 30,000

Cons: Weather, shared from 2015
Home to one of the great home-field advantages in MLS, BMO Field has finally hit its stride in the past few years. With the addition of the upper deck on the east side and the overhangs to protect fans from the elements, BMO has grown up from the 20,000-seat wind tunnel it was birthed as. Having undergone multiple rounds of renovation (with more possibly on the way), BMO is a bit of a patchwork. Some stands have aluminum flooring perfect for stomping, some have concrete. Some seats fold down, others are tiny bucket-style. The two endzones are populated by temporary metal bleacher seating. BMO isn’t fancy. It’s cold, windy, and at times, brutalist. But when it’s rocking, it’s up there with the best of them. While it is a shared ground with the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL, Canadian football is decidedly second at BMO. The only thing that has been affected soccer-wise is the pitch quality. Its location on the grounds of the Canadian National Exhibition can be desolate at times, however, when the CNE is on, expect a party. Bottom line, BMO has seen some amazing moments in its 12 years of life, and it will see plenty more as one of the best venues of the older guard in the league.
