Loser: David Ousted

David Ousted won’t want to see that second goal again. Maybe the wet conditions played a part but there’s simply no excusing a goalkeeper of Ousted’s experience dropping such a routine cross under very little pressure. Another spill followed for San Jose’s fourth as well, although that one was a much tougher take.

The four-goal hammering now takes the Danish stopper to 17 goals in conceded in 13 appearances this season and given that Wondolowski’s second goal was a record breaker, he will now have the unwanted chore of having to watch his spill over and over and over again in the coming days and weeks.

Depending on how long Wondolowski’s record stands, Ousted may bump into replays of this goal for years to come.
