2. Barco continues good form

Despite the loss, Ezequiel Barco continued his stellar form. The 20-year-old attacker won a few league awards this past week after his brace against New England. On Saturday, he continued to contribute to the attack and nearly scored on a couple of occasions.

Barco recorded five shots on the afternoon, with two falling on target, two off target, and one blocked. He hit the woodwork on one freekick, nearly equalizing for Atlanta just as he did against Philadelphia a few weeks ago.

The Argentine attacker looks very confident this season, and although he failed to score against Dallas, it is apparent his play is improving. As the team continues to grow, Barco seems to be an important piece of the puzzle. If Atlanta can find success moving forward, he will likely be at the forefront of that success.
