The ugly
There are two things to get to in the ugly section this week, one is a bit on the lighter side of things and the other was one of the worst things you will see in MLS this season.
We begin with Sean Johnson who had the worst moment of his career on Saturday against Minnesota United. The goalkeeper scored an own goal that will certainly be the howler of the season. Words can’t quite describe it, so please watch the video below.

In other, more troubling news, Kaku had a moment of madness in second-half stoppage time as the New York Red Bulls player blasted a ball into the front row fans at Childen’s Mercy Park.

This occurrence was a dark end to an otherwise terrific weekend of matches. Kaku did show apologetic gestures leaving the field but his red card will likely be a lot more than a one-game suspension.

Hopefully, this something we won’t see happen ever again in MLS. The league will need to come down hard on this matter to send a message that this will not be tolerated.
