MLS: 11 European stars who could come Stateside

3. Petr Cech

The only man on this list who is actually retiring, so, maybe this is another long shot.

Petr Cech has been arguably the best goalkeeper in Premier League history since joining Chelsea in 2004, but now, the legendary shot-stopper will be hanging up his gloves at the age of 36 after announcing his retirement from the sport earlier this year.

Usually, if there is one position on the pitch where you can keep on playing, it’s goalkeeper and Cech could easily do this and do it well in MLS. So, yes he is retiring, but maybe a nice fee and the temptation to swap the London rain for the American sunshine could force him to stick around for a while.
