MLS: 11 European stars who could come Stateside

8. Yaya Toure

Now this one is very likely.

Yaya Toure has been one of the Premier League’s best over the last decade, but after a disastrous return to Greek giants Olympiakos in 2018, the ex-Manchester City man is now on the lookout for a new adventure after having his contract terminated.

As a result, the Ivorian superstar has not played since December 2018. You would think a quick phone call to his agent and a healthy sum could well get him to put pen to paper.

After all, Toure is now 35 years old, without a club and already retired from the international game. Truthfully, I am surprised he isn’t already MLS-bound.
