4. Real Salt Lake love red cards

If there’s one club that could have had an entirely different outlook at the end of March, it’s Real Salt Lake. The Western Conference club has seen a red card in three of their five matches in March with all three coming in three consecutive weeks.

Their lack of discipline has led to three defeats, dropping potentially vital road points. Losing matches because you are not good enough is frustrating; losing matches because of ill-discpline is unacceptable.

This club can be a dangerous contender in the West if they can figure out their issue with red cards as of late. However, if this continues, it could be an absolutely dreadful way to open the 2019 season.
