4. Sporting KC last man standing

Sporting Kansas City advanced in the CCL on Thursday night with a 3-0 victory at home, securing a place in the semi-finals and preventing shame from falling on MLS. They now face Monterrey in the CCL semi-finals. The opening leg of that tie begins April 3rd. They are the last man standing.

In the meantime, Sporting KC face the Colorado Rapids on Sunday night. They will be welcomed to Colorado by former Sporting star, Benny Feilhaber.

Last year, we saw Toronto FC struggle during the MLS season while making a deep run in CCL. SKC will try to avoid the same fate. This match against Colorado could be a trap game for them.
