2. Angelo or Romario?

Designated Player Angelo Rodriguez was not fully healthy to begin the season, so Ecuadorian international Romario Ibarra got the start up top, with Rasmus Schuller filling in on the left wing.

Ibarra has made the decision to simply reinsert Rodriguez into the starting XI a difficult one, however, as he’s performed well to begin the season. He pressured the backline all day in Vancouver and got on the scoresheet in San Jose. So, who do you start?

While Rodriguez’s hold-up play is certainly a positive asset, and one that can open up space for his teammates, Romario’s pace can send the defense into disarray. Adrian Heath’s is very much an ‘if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it’ type of manager, though, only making changes when necessary. For that reason, I would expect the Ecuadorian to be up top once again.
