Christian Pulisic was back on the scoresheet for Borussia Dortmund as the German club is neck and neck with Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga table. Here is the latest USMNT abroad round-up.

Borussia Dortmund have been struggling to regain the form they showed at the start of the 2018-19 season. United States Men’s National Team player Christian Pulisic has been a part of Dortmund’s struggles as the midfielder has been out of action with injuries recently.

On Saturday, Pulisic was able to get a goal for his club in the Bundesliga. It was his first since September when he scored against TSG Hoffenheim. Additionally, he added an assist to Paco Alcacer’s match-winning goal. Dortmund went on to win 3-1 against Stuggart.

As it stands, Bayern Munich leads Dortmund on goal differential at the top of the Bundesliga table. Every goal will now count in the race to the title. Can Pulisic’s goal ignite a run of goalscoring form?

Also in the Bundesliga, Weston McKennie recorded an assist for Schalke during their 4-2 loss to Werder Bremen. McKennie increased his season assist total to four. For Schalke, however, it was yet another loss. The German club have lost four consecutive matches in all competitions.

In Bundesliga 2 action, meanwhile, Andrew Wooten scored for Sandhausen in a 1-0 win over FC Magdeburg.
