4. Philadelphia Union look to bounce back

The Philadelphia Union were supposed to be a playoff team in the Eastern Conference, led by new number 10, Marco Fabian. Unfortunately, they were derailed at home by a Toronto FC squad that seemed defeated after being unceremoniously ousted from the CONCACAF Champions League in the opening round.

Philadelphia will try to get their season back on track this week. However, they have a tall task ahead of them, traveling to Sporting Kansas City. On the road in Kansas City is always a tough assignment, but Sporting have lost two straight matches (LAFC in MLS and Independiente during the week in CCL). Facing elimination in CCL, they may need to rotate the squad some more, opening the door for the Union.

Defeating SKC away from home will undoubtedly soften the hurt of losing to Toronto last week. Philadelphia would have to feel good about securing three points during that two-game stretch.
