5. Minnesota United FC look to continue hot start

Minnesota United FC went on the road to take three points against Vancouver in the opening week of the MLS season. They won 3-2, led by MVP candidate, Darwin Quintero’s goal and two assists.

There are some that have Minnesota United pegged as a playoff team in 2019 after a major squad overhaul in the offseason. The players they acquired are more experienced veterans who will be expected to deliver right away. If Week 1 is anything to go by, their business seems to have been astute.

They will look to continue their streak on the road, this time against San Jose. San Jose were the worst team in MLS in 2019. Minnesota United have a very good opportunity to secure six quick points. Minnesota United plays San Jose Saturday night at 8:00 PM EST.
