2. Another tough result

Only one win has come in 2019 for the USWNT so far as their record already pales in comparison to how they fared in 2018.

There are still three months to go until the World Cup so there is plenty of time to instill confidence into the squad, but the current form suggests that it will be a very close competition in France when all is said and done.

England will be one of the favorites to win the World Cup. In Beth Mead and Ellen White, they too have outstanding firepower in offensive areas, allied with a defense anchored by the everpresent Steph Houghton.

But the USWNT are the better overall team and should expect to at the very least challenge the likes of England in the summer. A draw is a little disappointing, yes, but the USWNT are still right there with the best in the world.
