New England Revolution

4-2-3-1

GK Matt Turner

RB Andrew Farrell

CB Antonio Delamea

CB Michael Mancienne

LB Edgar Castillo

CDM Luis Caicedo

CDM Wilifried Zahibo

RM Cristian Penilla

CAM Carles Gil

LM Diego Fagundez

ST Teal Bunbury

I am shamelessly bullish on this Revolution squad; I think they are a playoff team. The strength of this team is the front-four. I have Teal Bunbury leading the line. He proved last year he could be at least a league-average striker. Juan Fernando Caicedo may start this Saturday, but I am taking the player I know can do the job.

Gil, Penilla, and Fagundez are locks to start in the attacking positions. Behind them will be Luis Caicedo in a holding role. The other midfield position is between Scott Caldwell and Wilfried Zahibo. I chose Zahibo because I believe he is more athletic, physical, goal-dangerous, a better tackler, and wins significantly more aerials, etc.

Edgar Castillo is the big addition at the back. He will start on the left. He, Mancienne, and Farrell will be starters. Joining Mancienne in the center could be Jalil Anibaba or Delamea. I’m still optimistic New England will sign another defender.
