Orlando City SC

Orlando will have a new primary kit in 2019. There is no name for the new kit, but the purple color associated with the club dominates the new look. The entire kit is purple with a textured pattern along the front in a darker shade of purple. The texture is unique, but difficult to see from a distance.

There is a darker purple trim on the sleeves and the Adidas stripes on the shoulder. Inside the neck is a “defend the fortress” motto for supporters. Orlando also get a jock tag with the line “City Beautiful” and the shape of the state of Florida and diagonal crossing white bars behind it. While the color is unique, the kit misses out on an opportunity to capitalize on such a beautiful color scheme.

Kit grade: C+
