New York City FC

New York will have a new primary kit for 2019. The club’s newest kit is mostly baby blue with a darker blue trim and orange trim as well. There is a unique orange stripe down the front of the shirt in addition to a couple of small details found all over the kit. The sleeves have the dark blue and orange trim, and the Adidas stripes down the sides are also dark blue.

The new kit’s small details might be the best part. On the back of the neck is a blue, white, and orange NYCFC tram flag. The kit also has a mosaic pigeon as a jock tag, which is extremely unique and calls to the team’s “pigeon” nickname. Because of the unique use of orange and the stripe down the front, NYC’s new primary kit scores very high.

Kit grade: A+
