Portland Timbers

Portland get a primary kit upgrade this season. The new kit is still green, but there are noticeable horizontal lines in two shades of green that have been named “Ponderosa Green” and “Green Night.” There is white and gold trim on the collar and sleeves of the kit. The Adidas stripes down the side of the kit are gold as well.

With this kit it’s the small things that stand out. Inside the neck of the kit are chant lyrics from Timbers Army’s most popular chant. There is also a silver star above the crest for the club’s MLS Cup triumph in 2015. Portland gets a higher grade for its somewhat unique design and intricate details that are sure to please supporters of all kinds.

Kit grade: B+
