Philadelphia Union

Philadelphia get a new secondary kit this season and it is called the “Inspired Kit.” The kit, like many others in the league, is predominantly white. There is an interesting design on the front with light blue shading that looks like rays of light extending from a Union snake logo. However, the shading is not very contrasting with the rest of the kit so the design is lost from a distance.

There is navy blue trim on both the collar and sleeves, as well as the Adidas stripes down the side. Another change for the kit this year involves their corporate sponsor, Bimbo. The company’s logo on the front if the kit is now navy blue, to match the team’s colors. The best part of Philadelphia’s new kit is the customizable back tags on the neck, a first for kits in the league. Fans get to choose from a variety of Union-specific logos to put on their kits. This raises their kit grade despite the mostly bland design.
