New England Revolution

New England’s newest secondary kit, “The Colonial,” is predominantly white with blue shading along the sides and sleeves of the kit. Their newest kit is inspired by the uniforms worn by colonial generals in the Revolutionary War. Unfortunately, the blue coloring is very light, therefore making the kit look all white (sensing a theme?).

There is a darker blue trim on the neck line and sleeves, as well as the Adidas stripes on the shoulders. Inside the kit, at the neck, is a club specific flag. An American flag sits at the base of the front shirt on the left side. The kit features a jock tag as well, although it only has an Adidas logo and 2019 on it. The fashion in which the light blue sits on the kit is unique to the league, but the execution of the contrast in shading is poor.

Kit grade: D+
