Minnesota United

Minnesota get a new secondary kit this season and guess what? It’s all white. The “drift” kit (like snow, get it?) is inspired by Minnesota’s cold and snowy conditions in the winter, although it still seems like a lame reason to choose such a boring kit. Apparently there is diagonal striping as a texture in the jersey, but it’s hard to tell it’s there.

There are blue accents on the sleeves and neck line, as well as blue adidas stripes down the sides. It’s such a shame there isn’t more of the pretty blue color incorporated into the kit, as it’s one of the better color palettes in the league. There is a loon isolated from the rest of the crest on the back of the neck, as well as a MNUFC jock tag. The MLS patches on the sleeves are whited out and look fresh, but because of the rest of the kit is so white it’s somewhat disappointing.
