FC Cincinnati

Cincinnati is getting the expansion club treatment, meaning the club gets two kits as part of their first season. Their primary is blue with orange “glitch” stripes that sit vertically on the front, orange shoulder stripes, and orange trim on the sleeves. Their secondary kit is a plain white shirt with very slight horizontal lines (yes those lines are there, look very close).

These inaugural kits feel very similar to Atlanta United’s. Both clubs’ primary kits featured vertical stripes as an immediately classic look while their secondary kits featured subtle horizontal stripes with a “playing it safe” look. It can be assumed the club will have a much more interesting secondary kit next season.

Cincinnati’s primary kit is fantastic; the color scheme works well and the glitch stripes across the front are new to the league, just like the club. However, the secondary kit is boring and leaves a lot to be desired and is why the grade isn’t an A. The secondary does feature a “2019 MLS” jock tag that unfortunately isn’t on the primary.
